Solution Overview

EICORE is a dedicated Business Ecosystem Platform, to capture, version control  and assign ownership to Business Logic. EICORE provides a foundation for structured  communication of requirements towards IT- and Data Teams without misunderstandings. EICORE is built following “Business-First” principles so it can be intuitively understood and operated by Business and Subject Matter Experts without the need for IT- Data Team assistance.  

The solution removes the specification uncertainty, so IT-/Data Teams can focus their ressources and skills on what they do best, namely develop the Digital Solutions.

The main functional components are:

  1. A Catalogue for Business Processes, which can be a conceptual representation of a process or refer til a specific IT solution. 
  2. A Catalogue of Information Structures used by Business Processes. Information  can in its physical form be represented by Datasets.
  3. A Knowledge Hub with glossaries containing Business Terms and corresponding  Metrics. Business Terms are used to describe Information Structures.
  4. A Business Process Map design canvas that integrates directly with the Business Process- and Information Structure Catalogues.
  5. A Knowledge Graph for organization and search capabilities in the Business Process- and Information Structure Catalogues. 
  6. Impact- and Lineage Analysis reports. Request a report of the Impact or Linage of  any object in a Business Process at any level of detail. The report shall both provide the affected elements as well as the full path to the elements.
  7. Direct and dynamic integration with physical IT- and Data Solutions (e.g. through API)

The Catalogues for Business Processes, Information Structures and Business Glossaries, are  designed for integration with alternative Master Catalogues used in the organization.
